Our philosophy

"icke" says the Berliner, meaning "me and my individual style" - with this in mind, we design favorite pieces with exclusively photographed city and country scenes, which can be found on feminine and comfortably cut garments. Poetic inventiveness becomes wearable fashion "made in Berlin".

"icke" is really aware of its responsibility - for us, making fashion means fair and sustainable creation! So an icke,FAVORITE not only conjures up a good mood and a smile for us, but also for all icke,FRIENDS.

icke,BERLIN are the designer and photographer Luisella Ströbele and the fashion designer Barbara Kristen.

The hallmarks of her feminine collection are the comfortable favorite pieces with sophisticated cuts. Exclusively photographed city and country scenes make the models real eye-catchers. Thanks to the perfect fit and the artistic photo prints, each piece of clothing tells its own surprising story. Poetic landscapes, native animals, colorful urban structures or photographic patterns reflect Barbara and Luisella's positive attitude towards life.

The icke,BERLIN collection is inspired by the special moments in the everyday life of the designers, their love of nature, their gardens, the sea, the mountains and beautiful places that they discover on trips together or with their families. The stories they tell in their current collection develop from this. Anyone who wears the flowing skirts, flattering dresses or cuddly T-shirts with the artistic prints carries their creativity and joie de vivre on and has to reckon with being asked about it on the street. The 'wat kiekst'n?' in the label says it all.

EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING - ITS OWN SMALL WORK OF ART

The icke,BERLIN collections are created in close cooperation and constant exchange between the two designers.

Luisella is responsible for the photographs and the prints. She always has her camera with her: "I often use the photos exactly as I took them. It's important to me that the photo character is preserved."

Cut and model design comes from Barbara: "I make the shape out of the surface." Luisella and Barbara discuss and decide together which motif goes with which cut, which photos find their way onto the clothes. There is a lot of joint precision work involved in this development process: How does a print have to be so that it fits on certain items of clothing? And what should the cut look like so that it dresses feminine and flatteringly? "Together we try on, design and change until everything fits for us and all icke,FRIENDS."

Every item of clothing from icke,BERLIN is a work of art in itself and for its wearer. The unique symbiosis of fashion and photography, the inspiring hand-in-hand collaboration and the mutual respect of the designers - that is the icke,RECIPE.
